Interesting Facts-Jimmy Neutron was named after James Chadwick.
-Sir James Chadwick was taken to a camp when World War 1 started for a year, halting his studies. -Chadwick had intended studying mathematics, but he was interviewed by a physicist who assumed Chadwick wanted to study physics. Chadwick was too shy to contradict him, so ended up enrolling as a physics major! -He had two children, and enjoyed gardening and fishing. -He won the Nobel Prize for Physics, the Hughes Medal of the Royal Society, the Copley Medal, and the Franklin Medal of the Franklin Institute. -Sir James Chadwick was 1 of only 3 people who had clearance into all of America's research about the bomb. |
